We took advantage of a large number of COVID-induced camping openings at Yellowstone to book a trip without requiring a one year lead time. It was pretty grand! We spent four days in Yellowstone,a nd then headed down to Grand Tetons and Jackson. This first gallery is the pictures from Yellowstone Canyon, Hayden Valley, Mud Volcano, Grizzly Lake, Gibbon Falls, and the Porcelain basin. The Yellowstone Canyon was really beautiful. On first viewing one immediately understands the name of the park. And the Porcelain basin was the most beautiful of all the geyser basins in the park, especially with the dramatic lighting of a storm moving in.
