Rome has a wonderful collection of extravagantly beautiful churches. Some we had planned to visity, some we just saw from the street and went in. There were yet others that we didn't have a chance to make it too, but here are the ones we did! In addition to beautiful architecture, there were great pieces of art including some by Michelangelo.
A relatively young obelisk, this one is only 2500 years old. The top and bottom are an abomination of art.
