Our trip to Rome included (here) the Pantheon, and some of the broader sites around Rome: Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Piazza Navona, Largo di Torre Argentina, and the Altare della Patria. The Pantheon was brilliant - though I would have loved much more to have seen it before it was vandalized by the church.

A 3000 year-old obelisk in front of the Pantheon, a beauty that badly clashes with the pope's stamp on the bottom and the cross on the top

The Trevi fountain, under some serious renovation

Randomly around town, a beautiful mosaic with the great Christmas inscription "Gloria in excelsis Deo et in terra pax ominibus bone voluntatis"

I was very surprised to see a parrot flying around Rome
