May 2019 - The Redwood Coast

We spent a long weekend driving up the coast to see the redwood forests. We took the scenic route and drove all the way up the 1 - windy, slow, but beautiful! The weather wasn't very pleasant, which actually added to the rugged beauty of the coast. After a couple days up in the Prairie Creek redwoods (pictures here) we also had the chance to visit the Humboldt redwoods, which is an incredibly scenic forest.
