March 2016 - Point Reyes, California
We went to Point Reyes to see the Tule elk. We had hiked nearly 3 miles along the trail out through the preserve and were about to turn around for the 3 mile hike back without seeing anything when suddenly we came across a herd right next to us. Point Reyes was generally full of wildlife, including birds, snakes, and an otter.
