April 2019 - Kings Canyon National Park

Kings Canyon NP is right next to Sequoia, so we made a point to visit while we were in the area. It happened to be the first weekend the canyon road had opened for the year, and we were almost entirely alone down there! It was really calm and peaceful, and Spring was very much in the air.

We sat down at a bench to eat some trailmix, and it only took a few seconds for this Stellar's Jay to come over and look for crumbs
