June 2017 - Kenai Fjords
The final stop of our week in Alaska was kayaking among icebergs at bear glacier, in the Kenai fjords. We first spent an afternoon at exit glacier, and then the next morning took a boat down to bear glacier. We spent the day kayaking among icebergs in the lagoon that the glacier sits in. We camped out at the lagoon that night, and the next morning did stand-up paddleboarding for the first time ever, in ice water. It's way harder than it looks.
