Birds About
July 2018 - Inverness

We spent a night in Inverness and had a chance to visit Loch Ness. I had previously been told that Loch Ness could be a bit underwhelming, but I found it to be very beautiful (the ideal weather probably helped). Castle Urquhart sits on Loch Ness, so we visited it and then drove over to Eilean Donan. On the way over to Inverness we drove through the Cairngorm mountains, and stopped for a few pictures along the way.
