November 2015 - Half Moon Bay
Just down the coast from San Francisco is Half Moon Bay, and just outside of Half Moon Bay is Fitgerald Marine Reserve. Low tide exposes tidal pools that are full of sea anemones and other life. We went at low tide and hiked from the reserve down to Half Moon Bay, and then hiked back up along the top of the bluffs. A beautiful hike with a stop for a picnic lunch on the bluffs made for a perfect day trip.
