The countryside on the other side of the Danube. It's a completely different world on the other side of the Danube. A very sudden difference from the 7th largest city in Romania, to a little village. Development on the other side has probably been slowed by the fact that there's no bridge across the river, only a ferry. About 10km from Galați is the 3 point border of Romania, Ukraine, and Republic of Moldova. I have this thing with 3 point boundaries, and I really wanted to see it. So we went on a really long walk... After that are some pictures taken from the maxitaxi and train up to Iaşi

| I found a turtle on the hill! | In the middle of the river here is the 3-point border between Romania, Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine | After about 12km of walking, we were still 8km away from getting back to the ferry to Galaţi when this ţăran pulls over in his horse cart, and offers us a ride to the ferry! |
