Birds About
Jul 2012 - Nærøyfjord, Norway

We took a very scenic train ride from Oslo to Flåm, and then took a ferry from Flåm up the Aurlandsfjord and down the Nærøyfjord to the (tiny) village of Gudvangen. We did some hiking along the fjord and spent the night at Gudvangen, and in the morning took a bus up to the Sognefjord and the town of Sogndal. We then flew from Sogndal back to Oslo. It was _incredible_!

We had the chance to hike for about 10km along the side of the Naeroyfjord, right past all of the incredible waterfalls

Where we stayed the night. Not much for luxury, but what a location!
The Sognefjord, much larger than the narrow (hence the name) Naeroyfjord
