March 2020 - Coromandel Peninsula

The Coromandel Peninsula is full of beautiful beaches and scenic cliffs. First we went to Cathedral Cove, which is a beautiful cove at the end of a hike along the cliffs. Then we went to hot water beach - you dig down a foot or so, and run into a hot spring, and can create little hot tubs on the beach. It took some figuring out to get the temperature just right, but it turned out great!
