I've wanted to go to Copenhagen for some time to see two things. First, the original Christus statue that inspired the one at Hopkins and others together with the twelve apostles by the same sculptor. Second, the complete collection of the original set of paintings by Carl Bloch depicting the life of Christ which is just north of Copenhagen at Frederiksborg slot.

The Church of Our Lady in Copenhagen. Very uninteresting on the outside, but with a real treasure on the inside!
The apostles line the chapel, with the Christus at the head
The Christus, with the baptismal angel also done by Thorvaldsen

The Carl Bloch room! The walls (the ones in the photo, and the ones behind) are jam-packed with the most beautiful paintings depicting the life of Christ
Some of the paintings: The children being killed by Herod, the baptism, the marriage at Cana, the temptations, teaching in the temple as a youth, and the woman at the well

More paintings: Healing the blind man, cleansing the temple, the transfiguration, the sermon on the mount, gathering the children, raising Lazarus
More paintings: Peter's denial, the burial, the crucifixion, and the resurrection
Some detail on what is to me one of the most powerful moments in the New Testament: Peter denying Christ for the third time
