We spent a weekend in Charleston, South Carolina. We hung out around town and ate a _lot_ of _really_ good food. We also made it over to Fort Sumter, and did some bird watching at the Magnolia plantation.

In a store we came across a translation of the New Testament into an English creole. Amazing!

A golde silk orb-weaver. At one point during our walk around the swamp we realized that we were surrounded by these enormous, disgusting spiders on all sides of the trail. It was really gross.
