Birds About
July 2021 - The Black Hills

While visiting the black hills, we stopped by Rapid City to see the statues of the presidents (well, the good ones anyway), and a couple other sites. The first was the mammoth hot spring site, which was a neat jumble of mammoth bones. The second was the Wind Cave national park, which was a cave with some really pretty formations. And we saw some wildlife while we were at it!

Part one of the trip, with more wildlife, hiking, and Mt. Rushmore, is here.
