Jun 2011 - Central Arizona
We went to visit some of the Native American ruins in Arizona. First was Montezuma's Castle, which would have been cool if I hadn't already been to the vastly better Mesa Verde. We then went to some random ruins along the side of the highway that I found about on the Internet. No sign, just a spot for three cars to park and a trail up to a hill, about 1 mile. These ruins were very poorly preserved, however, we could actually go up inside of them! I actually enjoyed them much better than Montezuma's Castle.
